Spyglass Talent Solutions, a retained recruitment firm, has been engaged by a confidential client to conduct a search for a Business Development Manager. The company provides heavy-duty dumpster rental and waste management solutions for commercial and residential construction projects across North Carolina. The company is known for dependable service, operational efficiency, and strong partnerships within the construction industry, and is one of the fastest-growing companies in the Triangle. As the business continues to grow, the company is seeking a driven, competitive Business Development Manager to bring in new accounts and build relationships with contractors, developers, and property managers across the Triangle. This role is based out of the company's North Hills office in Raleigh, with the majority of the position being in the field.
Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, builders, developers, and subcontractors across commercial construction Identify the decision makers on each account Check in with customers regularly Support the operations team as needed, including answering customer calls and texts and entering jobs into Dispatcher Track sales activity and pipeline, and meet with leadership regularly to review numbers, performance, and strategy Hit monthly and annual sales goals set with leadership
Qualifications: Established network in commercial or residential construction strongly preferred Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable working in shared spreadsheets and Quick Books; Dispatcher experience a plus Valid driver's license and clean driving record
