Job PostingThe Landings Golf and Athletic Club is a private luxury residential club on Skidaway Island dedicated to providing members with an active lifestyle through resort-class amenities. Located 12 miles from historic Savannah, our Club offers members access to six championship golf courses, 31 tennis courts, 15 pickleball courts, eight bocce courts, ten unique dining venues, five clubhouses, five swimming pools and a 52,000 sq. ft., wellness center.

Starter ResponsibilitiesResponsible for providing the highest level of professionalism and customer service for our members and guest
Ensure an orderly flow of play onto the golf course while enforcing all club rules pertaining to play in the Golf Handbook
Prepares a daily round count for each course
Communicate groups to the 1st tee at appropriate time
Assists the golf shop staff in collecting all guest and cart fees
Coordinates any changes on the tee sheet with golf shop staff
Checks in members and guests for their tee times on hard copy of sheet and on the computer
Answers inquiries promptly to assist members with tee time requests and or changes
Complies with departmental uniform and grooming standards
Works variety of shifts, as needed to include nights, weekends and or holidays
Complies with departmental and Club policies and procedures
Performs all other duties as assigned
Starter QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent
1 or more years of knowledge using computer software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Must have valid driver's license to operate Club vehicles
General golf knowledge preferred
Starter Minimum Critical SkillsAbility to communicate and relate to a wide variety of people
Ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions
Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to provide exceptional service to members and guests
Uses tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations while maintaining professionalism and integrity of the club
Starter Physical RequirementsStands, bends, walks and kneels for 10% of the workday
Lifts up to 10 pounds for 10% of workday
Works outdoors for 90% of workday
