About the role
BETA / Back-Office Operations Consultant ContractRemoteWe’re looking for a BETA / Back-Office Operations Consultant with hands-on experience supporting securities operations and the BETA financial services platform. This is a consulting engagement focused on back-office operations, trade processing, and operational workflows. The ideal candidate understands both the business processes and how BETA is used to support them.
What You’ll Do:
- Support and improve back-office securities operations and workflows
- Work with business and operations teams to understand requirements, identify issues, and implement solutions
- Support processes related to trade processing, settlement, reconciliations, positions, cash, corporate actions, and exception management
- Analyze operational workflows and recommend process improvements
- Troubleshoot issues and work with technology/business stakeholders to resolve them
- Translate business requirements into practical system/process solutions
- Participate in testing, implementation, and documentation
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on BETA functionality and back-office operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on experience with the BETA platform is required
- Strong background in securities/back-office operations
- Experience with trade lifecycle, settlements, reconciliations, positions, cash, corporate actions, or related operational functions
- Consulting experience supporting financial-services or investment-management organizations
- Ability to work directly with business users and translate operational needs into system requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a consulting environment
Important:
This is not a general financial-services consulting role. Candidates should have direct BETA experience combined with meaningful securities operations/back-office experience.
