Temporary / Project-Based Remote or Onsite Work Options Pay $35–$42/hour, depending on experience Start: ASAP Project through October 15, 2026 Focus People is seeking experienced paralegals with strong discovery and document redaction experience for an urgent, short-term legal project supporting a large public‑sector organization. This is a highly focused assignment for seasoned legal professionals who can step in quickly, work independently, and help complete a time-sensitive project by a firm deadline.
What You’ll Do: Review and organize documents related to discovery matters. Assist with discovery responses, document review, and production. Perform detailed document redactions involving confidential, privileged, personal, or other sensitive information. Prepare records and supporting documentation for legal review and production. Ensure accuracy and consistency throughout the review and redaction process. Work independently while coordinating with attorneys and legal team members as needed. Help keep the project on track for its October 15 completion deadline.
What We’re Looking For: Direct, hands‑on experience with BOTH discovery and document redaction. Prior professional paralegal or comparable legal support experience. Demonstrated discovery experience. Demonstrated document redaction experience. Strong document review and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Availability to start quickly and remain committed through at least October 15, 2026. Discovery and redaction experience should be clearly reflected on your resume. Especially Relevant Experience Litigation discovery and document production. High-volume document or records review. Government or public‑sector legal work. Open‑records or public‑records requests. Healthcare, medical records, HIPAA, or PHI. Privilege and confidentiality review. Regulatory or administrative legal matters. Schedule & Location This role is able to be fully remote and is focused more on completing the project work than maintaining a rigid daily schedule. There is an option to work onsite in an office in Atlanta, Georgia. Some flexibility for additional hours or weekend work is helpful as the project deadline approaches. Candidates do not need to reside in Georgia, but must be eligible to work in the United States. Compensation $35–$42/hour, depending on the depth and relevance of your discovery, redaction, and paralegal experience.
