Kitchen Dishwasher The kitchen dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure a smooth operation in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities: Cleaning dishes: Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashers or by hand. Organizing: Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in designated storage areas, ensuring they are ready for use by kitchen staff. Maintaining cleanliness: Keep the kitchen area clean by sweeping floors, taking out the trash, and cleaning kitchen appliances and surfaces. Assisting kitchen staff: Support cooks and servers by removing soiled dishes from tables and assisting with basic food preparation tasks as needed. Inventory management: Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when stocks are low to ensure continuous operation.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Physical stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items, as the job often involves repetitive tasks and physical labor. Attention to detail: Ensure all dishes and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and free from chips or cracks.
