About the role

The Senior Account Director, Real Estate & Strategy is a senior revenue-generating role responsible for driving advertising, partnership, and integrated marketing revenue within the real estate sector. This person will develop high-value client relationships, generate new business, grow existing accounts, and help shape commercial strategy within the category. The ideal candidate is an experienced media sales or business development professional with 7–10 years of relevant experience, a strong record of exceeding revenue goals, and an established network across real estate, agencies, and adjacent industries.
Key Responsibilities: Own and grow a portfolio of high-value real estate and related-category accounts while consistently delivering against revenue goals. Generate new business through an established network of developers, brokerages, luxury and commercial real estate companies, agencies, financial services firms, architecture and design companies, home and lifestyle brands, and other relevant businesses. Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key decision-makers, including marketing leaders, executives, developers, brokers, and agency partners. Develop and manage a strong pipeline of prospects and strategic partnership opportunities. Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and increase client investment across products, platforms, audiences, and solutions. Lead complex sales opportunities from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, close, execution, renewal, and expansion. Serve as a strategic advisor to clients by understanding their business objectives, audiences, competitive landscape, and marketing challenges. Develop integrated solutions spanning media, branded content, video, social, events, sponsorships, data, audience targeting, and other marketing channels. Partner cross-functionally with strategy, marketing, creative, content, research, product, and other teams to develop differentiated client solutions. Bring real estate market intelligence, competitive insights, and client feedback to internal teams and senior leadership to inform commercial strategy. Develop strategic account plans, lead business reviews, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for incremental revenue. Provide mentorship, market knowledge, and best practices to other members of the sales organization.
Qualifications: 7–10 years of progressive experience in advertising sales, media sales, integrated marketing, strategic partnerships, business development, or a related field. Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding significant revenue targets and developing new business. Established senior-level network within real estate, media, agencies, or related industries. Experience selling integrated marketing solutions across digital, advertising, branded content, social, video, sponsorships, events, or experiential. Strong understanding of the real estate industry, including relevant market dynamics, key players, and marketing priorities. Exceptional consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills. Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate client needs, market trends, audience insights, and performance data into revenue opportunities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Work Environment: This is a hybrid position (4 days per week) based in New York City. The role requires regular in-office collaboration and flexibility to support evolving business priorities and deadlines. Schedule expectations may vary based on business needs. Compensation Base: $150,000 - $175,000 + Bonus On Target Earnings: $300,000 - $350,000
