About the role

Coating Line Operator Understand daily schedule to produce correct job to standards as indicated Understand orders Understand all materials Take direction from and work with Coating Line LeaderPlace materials on unwind stations Review daily schedule of production jobs for machine Move required adhesive or resin drums to line Load required materials in position on infeed unwind station Load required polyester roll in position on laminating station for adhesive coater Set up Grit or Adhesive CoaterReview schedule to determine correct adhesive or resin Keep setup times to a minimum Load drums and connect lines for correct adhesive or resin in dispensing stations Splice materials to existing materials Install adhesive tray and hoses on adhesive coater Install and set knife gap and decals on coater Load required grit in hopper of grit coaters Install cores on rewind shaft Operate Adhesive/Resin Coaters Set all machine controls to proper specifications for materials being run Operate all machine controls Check for clean, even coatings Perform and record in process quality checks on all materials being produced. Make adjustments as required Maintain side to side position of liner or material Notify Coating Line leader of any/all production problems and/or quality issues Instruct and train Coating Line Assistant on position job requirements Clean up line Remove pump hoses, knife, decals and tray and clean at the end of each run Empty grit hoppers Help Coating Line Assistant with other duties as required Install roll of material for next job on infeed end Move empty drums and totes to storage area Be attentive to buildings, machinery and equipment. Advise Coating Line Leader of all issues affecting production Advise Coating Line Leader, Production Manager and/or Maintenance of any equipment requiring repair and/or maintenance Provide immediate notification to Coating Line Leader or Production Manager of any/all safety related issues Help maintain a neat, clean work environment Position reports to Coating Line Leader

Job Requirements:

Must be able to read a ruler
Must have good attendance
Must be able to lift 75 pounds
Must be able to stand for 8 hours
Must be able to move 54\" rolls
Must be able to safely operate pallets jacks, chain fall, hoist, pumps and all department equipment
Must be cooperative with good communication skills
Must be a self-starter
Must be able to follow procedures
Must produce to Company requirements daily
Must be willing to work overtime
