About the role

A fast-growing boutique real estate law firm based in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate with 3-7 years of experience to join its expanding practice. For an associate who wants more than just another lateral move, this is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding firm at an exciting stage of its development. Associates can build direct client relationships, take on significant responsibility, and benefit from the firm's continued growth and long-term upside. Opportunity for Growth: This is a young, ambitious firm with a growing client base and momentum. The practice handles a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including significant work in the industrial outdoor storage (IOS) sector for a leading industry client. The firm has more work than its current team can handle and a substantial pipeline for future business. Unlike more traditional law firm environments, this opportunity offers: Immediate responsibility: Take ownership of transactions and work directly with clients rather than serving in a narrow supporting role. Significant growth potential: Join a rapidly expanding practice with meaningful opportunities for professional advancement and long-term upside. An entrepreneurial platform: Become an integral part of a growing firm with opportunity to contribute to its future success. A collaborative culture: Work alongside a younger generation of attorneys who are invested in building something together. Competitive compensation: $200,000–$300,000 base salary, depending on experience, + bonus.
The Ideal Candidate: 3–7 years of substantive commercial real estate transactional experience working at a law firm. Meaningful experience with borrower-side real estate financing and joint venture transactions. A strong general commercial real estate background and the ability to independently manage transactions from inception through closing. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client-management skills. An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in growing alongside a dynamic law firm. Location & Compensation:
Office: Midtown Manhattan, NYC
Schedule: Four days in office; Friday WFH
Compensation: $200,000–$300,000 base salary + bonus, depending on experience

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
