About the role
Raven Cargo is hiring for a true senior-level sales role designed specifically for experienced freight professionals who want autonomy, flexibility, strong operational support, and serious financial upside. Raven operates under a strict split model. Our sales representatives get to focus on customer relationships, business development, and account growth, while dedicated senior-level Account Management, Operations, and Carrier Sales teams handle execution. Meaning you will have ownership without being left on an island.
What You’ll Do:
• Transition, retain, and expand established customer relationships• Create and execute a clear plan for activating transferable business• Develop new opportunities through prospecting, referrals, industry relationships, and market knowledge• Own customer strategy, communication, and long-term account development• This is not a cradle-to-grave position.• Expand accounts across additional lanes, modes, locations, and services• Collaborate with internal teams on complex, specialized, and high-value freight• Monitor account, service performance, pipeline activity, and long-term growth Career Growth This is a customer-facing leadership position with two clear long-term paths:• Advancement into higher-level strategic sales roles with increased compensation and additional support• Leadership advancement into Director or Vice President-level positions Primary must-haves:2+ years of successful freight brokerage sales experienceA proven history of winning, retaining, and growing profitable customer business History of established customer relationships Strong industry knowledge, customer communication skills, and ability to operate independently
