About the role
Irving Knight are currently partnering with a folding carton and commercial print manufacturer seeking a new Sales Representative to help grow their business throughout the North East and Mid West USA.This position is a hunter role, where the successful person will be constantly driving new business development and build the territory. Candidates must either be based in the North East or have existing business in the area. (Ideal states are MI, IN, OH, WV, VA, MD, DE, PA, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME).
Job Responsibilities:
Bring over and grow a book of folding carton business where applicable. Develop new folding carton accounts across the NE and Midwest US.Sell company’s printed folding carton and finishing capabilities across a range of industries, with a focus on food, retail, and luxury/premium brands and their manufacturers. Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, quoting (supported by our estimating staff), specification, and account management (supported by our customer service staff).Work closely with company’s estimating and production teams to deliver to spec and on time.
Qualifications:
A book of business that can be brought over is a strong asset, ideally in the range of $1-2M USD.3+ years of folding carton sales experience (strongly preferred).Proven hunter with a track record of opening and growing accounts. Based anywhere in the US with business in the Northeast, candidates located between Michigan, Virginia, and Maine preferred. Strong relationships across food, retail, and/or luxury/premium segments.
