About the role
Supporting financial planning and budgeting for Federal Client screening programs, the full-time Junior Financial Analyst will maintain spend plans, analyze variances, and prepare financial reporting while working remotely with senior financial staff.
Key responsibilities:
Maintain budget and spend-plan trackers, validating Government-provided financial data and historical funding records
Compare planned and actual spending, researching discrepancies and flagging concerns for senior review
Assist in preparing future-year budget inputs and analyses for the PPBE/PPBES process
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
0-2 years of relevant financial or analytical support experience, including internships or academic projects
Familiarity with PPBE concepts and basic budget formulation and variance analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
U.S. Citizenship required by federal client; Public Trust Clearance needed
