About the role

Grown Brilliance- SOHO FLAGSHIP STORE LOCATIONLuxury Retail Store Manager Flagship Store Director Flagship Store Director — Grown Brilliance, SoHoThe Role The SoHo Flagship Store Director owns the single most important storefront in our retail portfolio — and the job is built for someone who leads from the floor, not from behind it. This is a hands-on, high-accountability role: you are the first one on the sales floor and the last one off it, personally driving top-line sales as the core measure of success. You set the pace by selling alongside your team, coaching in real time, and making sure the flagship performs at the level its location and visibility demand. This is not a role for someone looking to manage from a distance. We need an operator who rolls up their sleeves, is comfortable in the weeds of daily execution, and treats every shift as an opportunity to move the sales needle — while also building the team, client relationships, and store standards that sustain that performance long-term.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership & Store Ownership (Top Priority)Personally drive the flagship's top-line sales performance — this is the primary measure of success in this role, not a secondary duty. Work the sales floor daily alongside the team: engage clients directly, close sales, and set the standard through personal example. Set and manage aggressive daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals, and hold the team — and yourself — accountable to them in real time. Own the store's day-to-day operating rhythm: staffing the floor for peak traffic, troubleshooting issues on the spot, and ensuring nothing gets in the way of a sale. Dive into the details when needed — covering the floor, handling escalations, or stepping into a client conversation personally rather than delegating it away. Team Development & Coaching Recruit, lead, and develop a team of luxury sales professionals who share the same hands-on, results-driven mentality. Provide real-time coaching on the floor — not just in scheduled reviews — to sharpen selling technique and product storytelling in the moment. Foster an accountable, high-performance culture where every team member understands their number and owns it. Run regular team meetings to align on priorities, review performance, and reinforce what's working. Client Strategy & Experience Champion a hospitality-driven, personalized client experience that converts into repeat business and referrals. Own clienteling strategy — consistent outreach, follow-up, and long-term relationship building using tools like Endear. Lead VIP outreach and in-store events that translate directly into sales, not just brand goodwill. Product & Inventory Oversight Conduct regular stock audits and maintain accurate inventory, proper stock levels, and loss prevention standards. Maintain tight, accurate control over repairs and special orders. Event Hosting & Brand Collaboration Partner with corporate to plan and execute in-store events that drive traffic and sales for the flagship. Represent the boutique in community and industry initiatives, and feed local market insight back to corporate. Reporting & Performance Tracking Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly sales reporting, flagging trends and opportunities early — before they become problems. Monitor individual and team performance against goals, adjusting coaching and floor strategy accordingly.
What We're Looking For: 5-6+ years of leadership experience in luxury or high-touch retail, with a demonstrated, numbers-backed track record of personally driving sales growth — not just overseeing it. A hands-on operator mentality: you'd rather be on the floor solving a problem than in the back office writing about it. Experience in jewelry, particularly lab-grown diamonds, is highly desirable. Proven ability to build and motivate a team while still carrying personal sales accountability. Strong client relationship and clienteling skills, with comfort using CRM/clienteling tools (e.g., Endear).Excellent communication skills — able to close a sale and rally a team with equal ease. Highly organized, comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced flagship environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail POS systems. Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or related field preferred.
Compensation & Benefits: Starting base salary: $110,000/year Quarterly sales performance bonus potential, tied to store sales targets Medical and dental benefits 401(k) plan Company discount Paid time off

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
