Lab Technician III – Bioanalytical (HPLC) | Lake County, IL | 12-Month Contract Are you a hands-on lab professional with HPLC experience who enjoys solving problems at the bench? A leading global biopharmaceutical company is growing its Bioanalytical group and looking for a Lab Technician III to support routine and non-routine analysis and formulation work. 📅 Start date: November 5, 2026⏳ 12-month contract with possible extension🕗 Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day (about 80% lab work, 20% desk work)
What you'll do: Partner with project leads on routine and non-routine analyses, producing reliable, consistent results Run bioanalytical and physical testing, such as SEC, CEX, HIC and RP-HPLC, Karl Fischer, UV/IR/fluorescence spectroscopy, pH, viscosity, density, color/clarity, and visible and sub-visible particle testing Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation Document work in an electronic lab notebook (eLN)Learn new experimental techniques as projects evolve Keep the lab clean, safe, and organized, and follow all SOPs, cGMP, and safety policies
What you bring: BS or MS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related science Hands-on HPLC experience and/or pharmaceutical industry experience (strongly preferred)Solid general lab skills: pipetting, weighing, solution preparation Experience with bioanalytical methods and Empower software
Nice to have: Particle sizing/testing techniques or force tester experienceUV, IR, or fluorescence spectroscopy Experience analyzing and interpreting bioanalytical data and working with project teams The environment You'll work in a GLP lab, reporting to one supervisor while collaborating with members of the broader technical team.
