What You'll Do: Receive, transport, and mix ingredients for plastisol batch production Operate forklifts, computer-controlled mixers, powder conveying systems, and other production equipment Follow production recipes and schedules to ensure accurate batch preparation Perform quality control testing using computerized lab equipment Set up production materials, drums, totes, and equipment Unload incoming tanker trucks and verify raw materials Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Handle hazardous waste in accordance with company procedures Perform equipment inspections and other duties as assigned What We Need Forklift certification or ability to become certified Valid driver's license required Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively Ability to wear and use respiratory protection equipment Experience in manufacturing, material handling, or batch processing preferred Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and production equipment Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods About Silgan Closures We are the largest metal food packaging producer in North America, committed to sustainability and innovation.
