Job Description: Nightmare on Woodward: A Haunted Car Wash Experience at Motor City Suds. We’re currently putting together a team of approximately scare actors for the event. Here are the details: This is a Part Time Seasonal Position Only Event Dates: October 16, 17, 23, 24 & 30
Working Hours: 6:00 PM–11:00 PM each night Availability: Because we want to build a consistent team throughout the event, preference will be given to actors who are available and can commit to all five event nights. If you aren’t available for all five nights, you’re still welcome to participate! Please let us know exactly which dates you can commit to when you respond.
Compensation: $100 per event night worked. Food & Drinks: Food and drinks will be provided for our scare actors during each event. Costumes: You are welcome to wear your own scary costume! The Role: Scare actors will help bring the experience to life by interacting with and scaring customers while they remain inside their vehicles. Actors will primarily be positioned throughout the vehicle queue leading up to the haunted tunnel and near the tunnel exit. Scare actors will not be responsible for operating car wash equipment, handling vehicles, or working at the point of sale. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
