Responsibilities include comprehensive cleanings, periodontal maintenance, digital radiographs, periodontal charting, patient education, and collaboration with dentists on restorative, implant, and cosmetic cases. Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and non-surgical therapy Obtain and interpret digital radiographs and perform thorough periodontal charting and assessments Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment plans in a clear, compassionate manner Collaborate closely with dentists and clinical team on restorative, cosmetic, and implant cases Maintain strict infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance in all clinical areas Document findings, treatment, and patient notes accurately in the electronic dental record system Support a calm, comfortable, and patient-centered environment for individuals and families Dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy Use of ultrasonic and hand instruments Dental radiography (digital X-rays) Periodontal charting and assessment Local anesthesia administration Infection control and sterilization Electronic dental records (EHR) management Patient oral health education and counseling Fluoride and sealant application Interprofessional communication and teamwork Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in state of practice CPR/BLS certification Local anesthesia certification (preferred/required per state law) Nitrous oxide monitoring/administration certification (if applicable)
