QC Technician Independence Excavating is looking to add a QC Tech to our team that will take charge of field observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, and related materials. A Typical Day Looks Like Performs field observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, and related materials Executes testing activities on projects of moderate complexity with minimal supervision Communicates daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers Reports on changing site conditions and additional testing needs to supervisors Prepares accurate and detailed daily field reports documenting site conditions and results Perform calculations, data reduction, and documentation tasks Maintains and organizes field equipment and testing materials Assist in resolving field-related issues and supports project execution Participate in project meetings with senior staff as requested Performs other field and project support duties as assigned Do You Have What It Takes? High School Diploma or equivalent is required and associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus ACI Level 1 Field Technician Certified or willing to obtain certification Must have strong organizational skills to handle the variety of tasks assigned Must be able to effectively communicate verbally with internal teams Demonstrated ability to manage work on their own Willing to 100% travel Why IX?
