Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site role for a Family Nurse Practitioner located in Melbourne, FL. The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide primary care services, including comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for patients across the lifespan. Daily responsibilities include conducting physical exams, managing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests. The role also involves coordinating care with psychiatry services when appropriate, supporting patients with weight management plans, and educating individuals and families on health promotion and disease prevention. The Family Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the care team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong Nurse Practitioner and Nursing skills, with the ability to provide safe, compassionate, and patient-focused care. Candidates should possess expertise in Primary Care and Medicine, including managing chronic conditions and promoting preventive health. Candidates should possess experience with Urgent Care or similar acute care settings, including triage and rapid assessment of patient needs. Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida and national certification (e.g., FNP) required. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a FNPMaster’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Experience or interest in behavioral health and weight management is beneficial. Proficiency with electronic health records and commitment to maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
