About the role

We’re looking for a driven, field-focused Safety Coordinator to support transmission operations and champion a Zero Harm culture across multiple project sites. This is a traveling role—you’ll be embedded with crews, influencing safe work practices where the work happens. This position partners closely with field leadership to ensure every task is planned, hazards are identified, and work is executed safely—every job, every time.
What You’ll Do:
  • Perform field observations, audits, and site safety inspections
  • Lead job briefings, tailboards, and safety engagements with crews
  • Drive hazard identification and mitigation before work begins and during the work
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, client, and company standards
  • Support incident and near-miss investigations with clear corrective actions
  • Coach crews and leaders on Human Performance tools and safe behaviors
  • Serve as a trusted safety resource in transmission and construction environments
What We’re Looking For:
  • COSS, CUSP, or CHST – Required
  • Safety experience in utility (transmission), construction, or related fieldOSHA 30 & First Aid/CPR – Preferred (training available)
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and industry safety standards
  • Ability to influence crews and build trust in the field
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work outdoors – Required
  • Valid driver’s license
