FRsix is seeking a professional and dependable Security Concierge to support NY Waterway operations at Brookfield Place in New York City. This position combines customer service with a visible security presence and is ideal for someone who is professional, attentive, approachable, and comfortable interacting with the public. The Security Concierge will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment, monitor activity within the assigned area, assist passengers and visitors as needed, identify and report suspicious activity or safety concerns, and communicate incidents or issues to the appropriate personnel. The position requires strong situational awareness, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm and responsive in a busy public environment.
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 3:00 PM–10:30 PM Location: Brookfield Place, New York, NY Position: Part-Time, Weekend Security Concierge
Responsibilities include: Maintain a professional and visible security presence Greet and assist passengers, visitors, and NY Waterway personnel Monitor the assigned area for security, safety, or operational concerns Identify and report suspicious behavior or unusual activity Assist with access, crowd flow, and general customer questions as needed Document incidents and complete required end-of-shift reporting Immediately escalate security or safety concerns through established procedures Maintain a professional appearance and represent FRsix and NY Waterway appropriately at all times Candidates should have strong communication and customer-service skills, be reliable and punctual, and be comfortable working independently in a high-traffic public environment. Prior security, hospitality, concierge, military, law enforcement, or customer-facing experience is preferred.
