A leading alternative investment management firm is seeking a Global Payroll Lead to join its Human Resources team. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to take ownership of U.S. and international payroll operations while partnering closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers. The ideal candidate will bring strong multi-state U.S. payroll expertise, international payroll experience, and a high level of attention to detail. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and improving payroll processes, systems, and controls.
Key Responsibilities: Own end-to-end U.S. and international payroll, including multi-state taxation, payroll processing, reconciliations, funding, year-end reporting, and compliance. Manage global payroll vendors and serve as a key partner to HR and Finance on payroll-related questions, reporting, audits, and projects. Maintain payroll processes and controls while identifying opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate the function. Ideal Candidates7–10+ years of hands-on U.S. and global payroll experience, including significant multi-state payroll and international payroll exposure. ADP and Workday experience required, with strong Excel, reconciliation, and data analysis skills.
