Compensation: Starting at $50+ per instructional hour, with rates varying based on the assignment, instructor qualifications, experience, location, scheduling needs, and other program-related factors. Most assignments fall between $50–$65 per instructional hour.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: Concorde Education partners with schools and community organizations to provide high-quality academic programs designed to help students strengthen skills, build confidence, and achieve their educational goals. We are seeking experienced and engaging SAT Test Prep Instructors who are interested in providing instructional services for SAT preparation programs serving high school students. This posting is intended to identify qualified professionals who may be considered for future independent contractor instructional assignments as opportunities become available. ASSIGNMENT SCOPE Depending on the specific program, SAT Test Prep Instructors may provide instruction in areas such as: SAT Reading and Writing SAT Math Algebra, geometry, and advanced math concepts Grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension Data analysis and problem-solving Test-taking strategies and time management Practice questions and full-length SAT preparation Identifying individual and group areas for improvement Strategies for approaching the digital SAT Building student confidence and reducing test-related anxiety Specific curriculum, schedules, instructional materials, student grade levels, and program goals will vary by assignment. IDEAL BACKGROUND Potential instructors may have experience as a: SAT or standardized test preparation instructor High school mathematics teacher or tutor English/ELA teacher or tutor College admissions test-prep instructor Academic tutor Certified teacher College instructor, graduate student, or education professional with relevant subject-matter expertise Previous experience teaching or tutoring SAT Math and/or SAT Reading and Writing is strongly preferred. Experience working with high school students in a school, tutoring center, test-prep organization, after-school program, or private tutoring environment is also preferred. Formal teaching certification is not required unless specifically stated for an individual assignment. WHAT WE LOOK FOR Successful instructors typically demonstrate: Strong knowledge of SAT content and question formats Proficiency in SAT Math and/or Reading and Writing Familiarity with the current digital SAT The ability to clearly explain challenging academic concepts Strong communication and student-engagement skills The ability to adapt instruction based on student strengths and areas for improvement Reliability, professionalism, and preparedness A supportive, encouraging, and results-oriented instructional approach INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR OPPORTUNITIES Instructional opportunities with Concorde Education are offered on an independent contractor basis and are assignment-specific. The availability, duration, schedule, and scope of assignments vary according to the needs of Concorde Education's school and community partners.
