Role Description: The Maintenance Technician role is a full-time, on-site position located in Geneva, IL. This role is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, and conducting scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce downtime. The Maintenance Technician will also inspect equipment, document work performed, follow safety and compliance procedures, and collaborate with production and management teams to prioritize maintenance needs. Additional responsibilities may include supporting continuous improvement initiatives, assisting with equipment installations, and maintaining an organized inventory of tools and parts.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance. Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair of industrial machinery. Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with manufacturing or warehouse environments, ability to read technical manuals and schematics, and knowledge of safety and compliance standards. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field is preferred. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work with tools and equipment throughout the shift, and to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
