Job Description: Fed Ex Ground Delivery DriverPAY: $800-1500 weeklySCHEDULE: Mon - Fri, WeekendsLOCATION: Concord, NCHOME DAILY | PAID TRAININGWe are looking for reliable, hardworking Delivery Drivers to join our team. If you enjoy staying active, working independently, and having a job where you’re moving throughout the day, this could be a great fit. As a Fed Ex Ground Delivery Driver, you’ll safely deliver packages to residential and business customers while providing professional customer service and keeping your route on schedule. No previous delivery experience? That’s okay. Previous delivery or professional driving experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
WHAT YOU’LL DO: • Safely operate a company delivery vehicle on an assigned route• Deliver packages to residential and business customers• Load and organize your vehicle before leaving for your route• Use a handheld device to scan packages and complete deliveries• Follow assigned routes and delivery procedures• Communicate professionally with customers• Complete required vehicle safety inspections• Work independently while staying on schedule• Follow all company and safety policiesWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORWe’re looking for people who are dependable, motivated, and comfortable working independently. You should:• Have a valid driver’s license• Have a clean driving record• Have reliable attendance• Be comfortable driving for extended periods• Be able to work independently without constant supervision• Have good communication and customer service skills• Be comfortable using a smartphone or handheld scanner• Be willing to work in varying weather conditions• Be able to pass required background, driving record, and drug screening• Be physically capable of lifting packages up to 75 lbs. WHAT THE JOB IS REALLY LIKEThis is not a desk job. You’ll spend most of your day:• Driving• Getting in and out of the delivery vehicle frequently• Carrying and delivering packages• Walking residential and business routes• Working independently• Working in hot, cold, rainy, and changing weather• Staying on schedule throughout the day If you prefer an active job where you’re moving throughout the day rather than sitting behind a desk, you’ll likely enjoy this position.
