About the role
Overview:
Right Hand Films is hiring a full-time Producer / Production Manager. This is a meaningful role at an accelerating production company creating videos for some of the top brands in tech. This is a full-time W-2 position, fully remote within the U.S., with no travel required.
Responsibilities:
The focus of this role will be to prepare everything related to a video shoot including creating schedules, call sheets, crew briefs, and more. You’ll work closely with top clients and orchestrate a smooth pre-production experience from first contact to shoot day wrap. From there, you’ll pass off the project to our Post-Production Manager for editing and anything else related to post-production. As Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for everything leading up to a shoot day. All of our video crews are travel-ready, but your remote role will not require any travel or on-set work, as you’ll orchestrate and manage all details leading up to the shoot day beforehand, preparing the crew for a well-organized production.
Requirements:
The three qualities that matter most in this role are organization, communication, and timeliness. These characteristics are the foundation of how Right Hand Films operates in all departments. At least 10 years of experience in the video production industry is required. Most important is great communication, a self-starting mindset, and a willingness to go the extra mile.
Compensation and Benefits:
This role offers an annual salary of $100,000 plus a retirement match of up to 3%. Benefits include three weeks of paid vacation (15 business days), paid sick days, and paid holidays. About Right Hand Films Right Hand Films creates cinematic customer testimonial videos, brand videos, event videos, and more, primarily for clients in the tech space. We care deeply about making work that feels polished, thoughtful, and high-end, and about creating a process that feels clear, organized, and professional.
Application Process:
Please submit three examples of producer or production management materials you’ve created. This can include project briefs, schedules, call sheets, creative briefs, or any other written materials that you've used to organize a video production. You are welcome to blur or redact anything confidential. We are looking to see how you organize things in written form. Send your examples to hiring@righthandfilms.com as PDFs or Google Docs links, along with a brief description of your experience and expertise. Conclusion We care about building a remote working environment that's built for great projects and a great team member experience. There is real opportunity to grow with the company over the next several years. If this sounds like a fit, I'd love to hear from you. Thank you, Ben Bradley Owner & Executive Producer Right Hand Films
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
