About the role

-Apply a strong working knowledge of FEMA GRAS raw materials and their appropriate use in flavor formulations. -Create diverse flavor profiles that meet target physical, chemical, and organoleptic performance specifications. -Develop production-viable flavor formulations that conform to established technical parameters, regulatory guidelines, and customer specific market requirements. -Provides analytical and organoleptic support to the Quality Control department with the assessments of raw materials and finished flavors. -Proficient ability to duplicate flavor profiles utilizing sensory evaluation, analytical data, and expert knowledge of raw material functionality. -Conduct flavor training and provide technical support to sales and customers, including the presentation of flavor concepts and product demonstrations. -Bachelor"s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science or an equivalent area. -Completion of a recognized Flavorist training program -Flavor creation and formulation for complex matrices/applications -Demonstrated ability to independently create, optimize, and commercialize flavor formulations with limited supervision. -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, formula management systems, and Enterprise Resource planning software.
