About the role
We have been retained by our client, a growing industrial services platform based in the Tri Cities in Washington state, to identify their next President. Relocation to either the Tri Cities in Washington state or Boise, Idaho is required. Our client is conducting a search for its next President, a hands on operational and commercial leader who will assume full day-to-day authority over the business and drive it through its next phase of growth. The President will own the Company's P&L, lead its people, and build the organizational infrastructure required to support a material expansion of the business over the next several years. The immediate priorities are threefold: drive aggressive expansion into new outside sales relationships across industrial services adjacencies, including industrial general contractors, structural and specialty steel fabricators, mechanical contractors, fireproofing, and insulation; build a scale-ready accounting and cost-management function; and professionalize the estimating and project management bench. The President will work alongside a strong field team, five experienced estimator/project managers, and a team of project engineers already in place to support the project management function, freeing those individuals to shift toward external relationship building as the bench beneath them is developed. This is a player-coach role. The President will support the estimating team, demonstrate the work, and set the standard for commercial discipline rather than delegating from a distance. The right leader will bring a repeatable playbook from a comparable industrial services business, or the drive and operational instincts of someone ready to run a business at full authority for the first time. The President will report directly to ownership. Experience in industrial services or construction subcontractor experience, proven P&L accountability and experience rapidly scaling a business is required. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, bonus and significant equity. No third party responses and only candidates willing to relocate will be considered.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
