Machine Operator Davis Furniture is a family-owned high-end furniture manufacturer who is a leader in contemporary contract furniture. Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor machines used for cutting, shaping, drilling, or finishing chair parts
  • Load raw materials and components into machines safely and accurately
  • Adjust machine settings and tooling to meet production specifications
  • Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting
  • Document production quantities, machine performance, and maintenance activities
  • Report equipment malfunctions, defects, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPECollaborate with production team members to maintain workflow and meet daily production goals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S and safety standards
  • Any other job duties assigned
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, specifications, and technical drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and quality control awareness
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Basic math skills for measurements and machine adjustments
