Role Description:
This is a full-time remote role for a Manager within the RQA, Inc. team. The Manager will be will be responsible for identifying, developing, and documenting audit issues, conducting risk assessments, and proposing effective solutions. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, communicating throughout all audit stages, and performing comprehensive gap analyses. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in the food and beverage industry, with experience in supplements or cosmetics is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and document audit issues, risk assessments, root causes, and effective solutions. Conduct audits and gap analyses, then develop action plans and practical recommendations. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and communicate clearly from project planning through final reporting. Develop and present webinar, educational, and marketing outreach content. Create subject-matter resources, including templates and procedures. Developing assigned subject area content such as templates and procedures. Deliver remote and onsite client projects, including document development, audits, simulations, and technical assessments, in line with proposal commitments. Support insured and non-insured clients through virtual and in-person discussions and presentations. Provide incident response consulting as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of progressive work experience in QA/QC, food regulations, food defense and/or auditing with food operations and companies. Lead auditor certification (required)Experience across multiple industries, including at least two of the following: food, food service and hospitality, consumer products, supplements, health and beauty, cosmetics, medical devices, or automotive parts. Experience with regulatory and recall management; broader risk management experience is preferred. Strong presentation, project management, communication, adaptability, and applied critical-thinking skills. Availability to travel and work onsite at client locations and RQA’s corporate office as needed.
