Summary:
Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, this position is responsible for the accurate labeling of parts and assemblies using various marking methods. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Understands engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers to determine marking requirements Use the appropriate marking method (Electro-Etch, Laser, Vibro-Peen, Dot-Peen, Ink) to clearly and correctly identify materials, test pieces, and other assemblies as required Barcode scan or manually enter identification requirements in the computer Manually transfer ink marking onto part surfaces Pre-form aluminum tags before assembly Apply aluminum tags into place Assemble stainless tags onto hoses and tubes Assemble shrink sleeve over marking as required and set in place While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time Other duties may be assigned as needed

Verifies and maintains accuracy of routers and other applicable documents for completeness Be safety-minded and follow all company policies, safety policies & procedures, and practice safe work habits. Such as, but not limited to; use of proper PPE, safe lifting techniques, and building security. Attend all meetings and trainings as scheduled
Requirements:
Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
