Business Transformation Consultant to lead a large-scale Make-to-Order (MTO) Supply Chain Transformation Program for a global luxury retailer/manufacturer. This role will drive the design and implementation of a future-state operating model spanning supply chain planning, manufacturing, sourcing, inventory, order management, fulfillment, and delivery. The ideal candidate has successfully led complex supply chain transformations and understands how assortment, personalization, and customer demand impact planning, production, inventory, capacity, and fulfillment across the end-to-end value chain. Combine strong business acumen with supply chain expertise and has demonstrated success leading large-scale process transformation initiatives from strategy through execution, delivering measurable improvements in operational performance, scalability, and customer experience. They serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and can effectively bridge business strategy, operational processes, and enabling technologies to achieve lasting business outcomes.
Responsibilities: Lead the transformation Program to a scalable Make-to-Order (MTO) operating model. Assess current-state processes and design future-state capabilities Define business requirements, operating models, KPIs, governance, and transformation roadmaps. Facilitate executive workshops and build alignment across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Merchandising, Retail, Product, Operations, and Technology teams. Partner with technology organizations to ensure business process and platform alignment. Lead change management and organizational adoption efforts.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Transformation, IT / Business Transformation, Operations Strategy, or Management Consulting.
  • Experience leading large-scale supply chain, planning, manufacturing, or operating model transformation programs.
  • Deep expertise in: Supply Chain Planning
  • Business Process Transformation
  • Strong understanding of MTO, CTO, or highly customized manufacturing environments.
  • Proven ability to engage executive stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide change.
Technology & Platform Experience: Experience with the following platforms or comparable solutions is highly preferred: JD Edwards (JDE) Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory, and Supply Chain modules. Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, Production Planning & Scheduling, and Integrated Business Planning. Sterling OMS Order Management, Order Orchestration, Inventory Visibility, ATP, and Fulfillment Optimization. Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) platforms. Available-to-Promise (ATP) and Capable-to-Promise (CTP) capabilities. ERP, MES, Supply Chain Planning, and Supplier Collaboration platforms. Digital Twin, Scenario Modeling, and Supply Chain Simulation tools.
