About the role

Senior Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex enterprise IT initiatives in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing cross-functional teams, delivering large-scale technology projects, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies are essential.Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills10+ years of Project Management experienceExperience managing enterprise IT or Digital Transformation projectsAgile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid project delivery methodologiesProject planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource managementJIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or SmartsheetRisk, issue, dependency, and change managementStakeholder and executive communicationVendor and third-party managementSDLC knowledgeExperience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred)Strong reporting and documentation skillsPMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification (preferred)Roles & ResponsibilitiesLead projects from initiation through deployment and project closure.Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports.Coordinate cross-functional teams, including business, development, QA, and infrastructure.Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines.Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively.Facilitate Agile ceremonies and project governance meetings.Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.Ensure adherence to organizational PMO standards and quality processes.Manage stakeholder expectations and drive successful project outcomes.Support change management and continuous process improvement initiatives.Maintain project documentation and performance dashboards.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master certification.Experience with enterprise software implementations, cloud migration, ERP, CRM, or infrastructure projects.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
