About the role

Technical Services Specialist-Level 1 - Associate This position is responsible for applying diversified technical knowledge and practices to a broad variety of assignments and related fields. The role involves assisting a quality control inspector in testing materials required for the operation of a nuclear power plant. The individual will receive guidance on overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters.
Key Responsibilities: Apply diversified technical knowledge and practices to a range of assignments. Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures with judgment. Plan and develop technical projects concerned with unique or complex challenges. Explore subject areas, define scope, and select areas for investigation. Act as a technical liaison to individuals within and outside the organization. Assist a quality control inspector with material testing. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Required Qualifications
Education: An Associate Degree in electrical/electronics or equivalent work experience is required.
Experience: 0-5 years of experience applying diversified knowledge of technical principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments.
Technical Skills: A basic understanding of test equipment and its uses is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Knowledge of mechanical theory and an understanding of material testing are a plus.
