About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Assistant to support our real estate team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability to various technology applications while possessing a strong foundation in general office tasks.Key Responsibilities- Maintain organized files and records, both digitally and physically, ensuring easy access to important documents.- Utilize various technology applications for managing listings, client databases, and communication.- Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service.- Perform market research and compile relevant information to assist Broker in property listings.-Start and stop utilities.- Track expenses and process reimbursement requests, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.-Calculate and initiate commission demands. Coordinate with escrow company.- Manage bank deposits and maintain records of financial transactions with high attention to detail.- Collaborate with the accountant to provide full documentation for financial reporting and audits.- Support Broker with general office tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.- Follow instructions meticulously while completing tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.- Proactively identify and solve operational challenges, ensuring a seamless workflow.- Assist in managing real estate transactions from start to finish, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.- Provide administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.Qualifications- Proven ability to quickly adapt to multiple new technologies and software applications.- Strong general office experience with a focus on administrative support.- Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to think critically.- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.- Task-driven and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.- Self-starter with a proactive approach to challenges and tasks. The office is small and very quiet. The assistant must be self-disciplined, highly accountable, and comfortable working alone, although guidance is only a call/text/email away. - Preferred: Real estate license or working towards obtaining one.- Preferred: Experience as a Transaction Coordinator, but not mandatory. Alternately, a background in property management can be useful.
