About the role
Join Our Culinary Team – Full-Time Cook at Avina of Pewaukee Avina of Pewaukee is now hiring skilled and passionate cooks that are looking for a career that truly makes a difference.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare high-quality meals while following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Open the kitchen and ensure meals are served on time.
- Deliver food carts to resident care areas.
- Prepare and serve nutritious snacks between meals.
- Assist with kitchen setup, cleanup, and inventory.
- Shifts Available:
- Full-Time: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PMFlex Cook: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous food service experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience or strong interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Reliable, dependable, and organized with strong time management skills.
- Knowledge in dietary techniques and procedures
- Must have a general interest in geriatrtics
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- Be able to lift up to 50 LBSMust be at least 18 years of age
