About the role
- Develop programs for 5-axis machining centers using Fusion 360 or Siemens NX.Support first article prove-outs and in-process inspections, work closely with QA to develop, troubleshoot and improve cutting strategies
- Interpret 2D drawings, 3D CAD models, and GD&T specifications.
- Develop machining processes for aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel materials.
- Collaborate with other machinists, engineers, quality, and production managers
- Embrace a culture of continual improvement
- Follow AS9100 quality standards and ITAR/EAR company procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong mechanical aptitude
- Program, setup, run and inspect tight tolerance Multi-axis parts
- Programming using Fusion 360 or Siemens NXFanuc and Heidenhain controls
- Using precision measuring equipment (gauges, calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.)Strong print reading and GD&T skills
- Experienced operating in AS9100/ITAR manufacturing environment Fixture design and production process improvement
- Trouble shooting and root cause analysis skills
