Project It Technician At CompucomStaffing, you're more than just a number. We have a new opportunity for a Project IT Technician to join our client's team onsite in Akron OH. This role comes with the possibility of travel to support other corporate facilities. Must have the ability to drive personal vehicle with reimbursement for mileage & tolls will also be reimbursed. Must be okay with overnight stays as well; we will book the hotel ahead of time (1-2) weeks, will also be reimbursed for meals up to $50 per diem. The work schedule will be M-F 7:30am-4:30pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare workstations for deployment
  • Reimage devices as needed
  • Configure PCs, Workstations, and Monitors for use in various departments
  • Travel to remote facilities to complete inventory and upgrades
  • Primary projects:
  • PC upgrades at distribution control center
  • Site audits and PC refreshes and different corporate sites
  • Other desktop related projects
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Good communication skillsGood analytical / troubleshooting skillsGood customer support skills
  • Ability to follow written instructions
  • Must be reliable
Wage Range: The rate for this position is between $18.75 - $25.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
