Registered Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer
Job Description:
The Registered Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer is responsible for performing noninvasive vascular and cardiac testing utilizing ultrasound and other noninvasive modalities. The sonographer collaborates with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality testing services. This role involves working with outpatients, inpatients, and patients within the Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform noninvasive vascular and cardiac diagnostic tests.
Utilize ultrasound skills for patient assessments.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure quality in testing and patient care.
Maintain compliance with established protocols and standards.
Qualifications:
Must possess current registration in vascular and echocardiography.3+ years of experience in the specialty required.1+ years of travel experience preferred.
BLS/BCLS certification is mandatory.
RDCS and RVT registered through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR RCS and RVS registered through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).Shift Information
Days: Monday - Friday (7 AM - 5 PM)
