About the role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.3+ years of building-material, construction-product, technical sales, or business-development experience.
- Experience with steel, cable systems, architectural metals, fencing/panel systems, or metal fabrication strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, construction plans, and project specifications.
- Understanding of construction materials, installation practices, and applicable building requirements.
- Experience developing new accounts and managing existing customer relationships.
- Strong prospecting, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and customer-service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
- AutoCAD experience preferred.
- Experience using CRM, ERP, estimating, or related business systems.
- Ability to work independently within a growing and evolving organization.
- Willingness to travel 20%Compensation & Benefits$80-85k + Commission(1st year is guaranteed Pay $120-130k)
