Job ID: SRJ_7274Posted: 2025-06-25Location: Milwaukee, WISalary: USD 85-90 / Yearly (Full Time)Employment Type: Full TimeClient: L&T Technology ServicesContact: Meghana GorusuCompany: SRI Tech SolutionsTitle: Design Engineer (Mechanical / Mechatronics)Location: Milwaukee, WisconsinFull TimeJob Description & Skill Requirement:Concentrating on mechanical engineering conceptual design for complete Automotive Electro-Mechanical / Mechatronic productsAccess Product design experience example: Push Button controller, Display products with Haptic and Touch Screen sensors product design is preferred.Having experience in Light pipe / Light guide component design, multi-shot plastic & rubber injection molded part design and metal die-cast molded part design for the product design.Finalizing the design of product, stack ups, manufacturing drawings with appropriate material, process of manufacturing, assembly sequence, overall, all packaging of electronic Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) Keep-in / out under mechanical housings/enclosures for the complete product design.Make a study & understand the customer specifications to meet the product standard & performanceSketching & creating A-class styling curves and surfaces to meet customer Studio product image using CREO CAD software tool preferredPerforming surface quality check reports & neutral model to get approval from Customer studio expertiseCreating components, assembly structure and BOM split-up based on overall product dimensions & specifications using CREO CAD software toolFollowing up mechanical design guidelines and do quality check as per design check list.Clear understanding on FEA, Plastic Injection mold flow analysis & Lighting simulation CAE reports to interpret the result for design changes and improvement.Participating in design review meetings & share ideas with Design for failure mode and effective analysis (DFMEA), Design for manufacturing (DFM) meetings and working with design improvement change process.Creating 2D engineering manufacturing drawings with appropriate application of geometric dimensioning & tolerances (GD&T) for components & assembly levels.Calculating Tolerance stack-up loops diagrams and perform analysis with applied GD&T to validate critical design failure functions & apply changes to the improvement of design failure's either with correcting tolerances, process, material etc. & with appropriate engineering principle.Working with Wind-chill online server tool to back up the design data like CAD, drawings, Stack up, FEA, mold flow, clearance & interference analysis, surface quality analysis reports as project database control & management.Finalizing the design of product for prototype kick off based up on design review meetings & approvals.Working with validating the component & assembly levels checks & parameters to meet customer engineering specifications for the product design with various levels of test procedures.Conducting design reviews & changes for prototype improvement of overall product functionality.Participating, interpreting test results and will conduct design reviews for the design improvement developed to solve the failures observed.Working with finalization of complete product based up of production volume requirements for Production kick-offWorking with fixture design for complete product based up of various test set up procedures.Reviewing the dimensional inspects reports & stack-up to approve parts for product production build.Develop design studies and new design concepts for new mechanism projects.Develops CAD models for entire mechanism assemblies with minimal direction from engineering.SRI Tech Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, national origin or citizenship status or ethnic origin, disability, marital status, veteran status, or any other occupationally irrelevant criteria.
