You will impact product conformity, customer satisfaction, and supplier performance while managing a team of quality engineers and inspectors. Onsite (1st Shift, Monday-Friday). Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Communicate and execute customer, regulatory, and organizational requirements to assure product quality and contract compliance. Manage and develop a team of quality engineers and inspectors to foster quality compliance and continual improvement. Maintain and implement the quality management system to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements and corporate/division policies. Ensure personnel performing quality-affecting functions are trained and demonstrate appropriate skills and performance. Coordinate plant personnel for internal, customer, and third-party quality system audits. Maintain a corrective action system to analyze and correct nonconforming conditions and complaints. Implement performance measurements to evaluate product quality, customer satisfaction, and cost of poor quality; target improvement efforts based on results. Assess supplier capabilities and monitor supplier quality to ensure desired performance levels. Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleB.S. degree in Engineering or a related discipline. 3-5 years of Quality, Engineering, or related experience. Minimum 3 years managing a team. Knowledge of AS9100D and manufacturing quality practices. Experience with quality improvement tools and techniques (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma methods, Statistical Process Control, MSA/Gage R&R, Process Capability, FMEA). Demonstrated leadership, project management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to represent the organization technically and professionally. Here's What Else Might Help You Out Lead auditor experience for AS9100D. Certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), or Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr). Aerospace, medical, or manufacturing engineering background.
