About the role

Make An ImpactBy owning and optimizing the organization's voice communications and mobile device infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable Microsoft Teams Phone services, telephony systems, and company-provided mobile devices while supporting business operations and enhancing the end-user experience across the organization. Expectations For The Role Administer and manage Microsoft Teams Phone users, phone numbers, calling policies, Direct Routing environments, SIP trunk connections, and Session Border Controllers (SBCs).Provision, configure, and maintain company-issued mobile devices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and security standards. Perform routine maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of the Teams voice ecosystem and supporting voice network infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve voice, telephony, and mobile device issues while serving as an escalation point for complex technical incidents. Partner with Systems Engineers, Network Administrators, Service Desk teams, and business stakeholders to address voice and mobility-related challenges. Monitor system performance, outages, and service events, implementing corrective actions to maintain uptime and service reliability. Configure and optimize call routing, dialing plans, telephony integrations, and multi-vendor voice solutions. Support onboarding efforts by provisioning voice services, phone numbers, device configurations, and telephony resources for new employees and locations. Create and maintain documentation, procedures, and knowledge transfer materials for technical teams and end users. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to improve scalability, efficiency, and service delivery. Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during evenings, weekends, and maintenance windows as needed. Ensure voice and mobile environments align with security, compliance, and organizational requirements. What You Should Bring Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Teams Phone, voice engineering, telecommunications, or VoIP environments. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams administration, Teams Phone, Direct Routing, SIP trunking, and Session Border Controllers (SBCs).Experience supporting Apple iOS devices, mobile device management, and device compliance programs. Solid understanding of VoIP technologies, SIP protocols, call routing, and telephony infrastructure. Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls, and subnetting. Experience utilizing ticketing and service management platforms such as Service Now. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Customer-focused mindset with experience supporting end users in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results.
