Job Description A Design Engineer is responsible for completing the following duties: Coordinate product design and development for equipment used in processing bulk material and aggregates Design and detail custom conveying equipment Perform design analysis for components Complete bills of material Evaluate and implement design changes Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, AgriculturalEngineering or related education Thorough understanding of: Drafting standards, dimensioning, and tolerances Mechanical power relationships such as horse power, torque, speed, ratios Shaft, bearing, and power transmission design and analysis Strengths of materials and structural analysis ASD steel design code Training and/or experience in using SolidWorksor similar 3D CAD software Expectations of Employees Embrace Core Values: Serving Others, High Integrity, Strong Work Ethic, Culture of Opportunity & Long-Term Relationships Projects are functional, easily manufactured, and meet customer expectations Component design is completed according to schedule Design analysis, drawings, and bills of material are accurate Use SolidWorks,Windows-based, and Google-basedprograms effectively Traits of Successful Employees Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to complete tasks according to planned schedule Willingness to help out where needed Employee Benefits Weekly paycheck Medical insurance - company covers 75% of premiums Dental, and vision Insurance Paid vacation 401K retirement account with 5% company match #J-18808-Ljbffr
