Job Description
A Design Engineer is responsible for completing the following duties:
Coordinate product design and development for equipment used in processing bulk material and aggregates
Design and detail custom conveying equipment
Perform design analysis for components
Complete bills of material
Evaluate and implement design changes
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, AgriculturalEngineering or related education
Thorough understanding of:
Drafting standards, dimensioning, and tolerances
Mechanical power relationships such as horse power, torque, speed, ratios
Shaft, bearing, and power transmission design and analysis
Strengths of materials and structural analysis
ASD steel design code
Training and/or experience in using SolidWorksor similar 3D CAD software
