About the role

The Opportunity: A leading global investment firm is looking for an experienced OneStream Manager to join its Finance Technology team and play a key role in the next phase of its OneStream journey. The organisation currently operates OneStream on-premise and has recently committed to a move to OneStream SaaS, with the migration expected to begin in early 2027 and target go-live later that year. This is an opportunity to join the team ahead of the migration and have genuine ownership over how the platform evolves. You will work closely with Finance, Technology and senior business stakeholders to shape the future OneStream environment, while helping drive improvements across reporting, consolidation, planning and wider performance management. The role would initially be offered on a contract basis, with a clear opportunity to transition into a permanent Manager position after approximately six months. The longer-term progression path is towards AVP, based on business need and performance. What You'll Be Working OnThe OneStream platform supports a broad range of critical Finance processes, including: Financial close and consolidation Management and financial reporting Budgeting and forecasting Account Reconciliations People planning Tax reporting Carry Waterfall Fund reporting
Your Responsibilities: As OneStream Manager, you will take a leading role across both the technical direction and business evolution of the platform.
Key responsibilities will include: Take ownership of the OneStream platform roadmap and help define its future direction. Support and lead the transition from the existing on-premise environment to OneStream SaaS.Work with Finance and senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable OneStream solutions. Provide technical and architectural guidance across OneStream development, integrations and platform enhancements. Review and improve existing OneStream solutions, identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and modernise the platform. Drive improvements to the user experience, including dashboards, reporting and executive-facing functionality. Support the continued development of consolidation, planning, forecasting, account reconciliation and reporting capabilities. Work closely with implementation partners and external consultants to ensure delivery quality and consistency. Act as a key point of contact between Technology, Finance and other business functions. Establish development standards, governance and best practices across the OneStream environment. Help evaluate new OneStream functionality and determine where it can add value to the organisation. Provide leadership and guidance to the existing OneStream team. Contribute to longer-term architecture and platform strategy rather than focusing solely on hands-on development.
What We're Looking For: We're particularly interested in experienced OneStream professionals who can operate beyond a purely technical development capacity. You should have:
  • Significant hands-on experience with OneStream.
  • Experience working with OneStream SaaS, ideally including a SaaS implementation, migration or major cloud transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of financial close, consolidation, planning, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experience across multiple OneStream use cases rather than being specialised in a single area.
  • The ability to understand OneStream architecture and how it fits within a wider enterprise technology environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience translating Finance requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • The confidence to work directly with senior Finance and Technology stakeholders.
  • Experience working within a consulting, systems integrator or complex enterprise environment would be highly advantageous.
  • A strategic mindset and an interest in modernising existing EPM platforms rather than simply maintaining them
  • Must be commutable to Washington DC
