Ultra Sound Per Diem Position
Location: Memorial Hospital
Shift: Variable (United States of America)
Job Summary: A Registered Sonographer can play a key role in assisting the physician in diagnosing and treating a patient at ProMedica. You will perform ultrasound procedures, educate the patient about the procedure, and answer any questions they or their family might have. In this role, you will help the physician with physician-performed ultrasound-guided procedures and may train/educate/evaluate new or student sonographers. The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. It should not be considered exhaustive.
Requirements:
  • Must have attended an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or have the equivalent experience accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
  • Must be registered as a diagnostic sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and must maintain active registry status. If not registered, must become registered within one year.
  • CPR certification
