About the role
Focused on pre-sale activities, the remote HVAC Application Engineer will collaborate with sales teams and clients to provide technical expertise in the design and estimation of HVAC systems, ensuring accurate proposals and project success.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical guidance on HVAC system designs
Perform detailed estimations of HVAC system costs and develop competitive cost proposals
Evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate HVAC systems while preparing detailed technical proposals and specifications
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience (5+ years) in HVAC engineering with a focus on pre-sale activities
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and industry standards
Excellent understanding of energy codes and building regulations
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
