Overview: Our pain management practice in Pasadena is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide comprehensive anesthesia care across a range of procedures, including ophthalmology, pain management, neurosurgery, and plastic surgery. New grads and experienced CRNAs alike are encouraged to apply for this full-time, Monday–Friday role within a collaborative clinical team. Position Offers:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM Competitive pay: $130–150 per hour (DOE) Health insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays Malpractice insurance
Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced pre-operative patient assessments, including history, physical examination, and risk stratification for anesthesia Develop individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient condition, procedure type, and best practice guidelines Administer monitored anesthesia care (MAC) and general anesthesia (GA) across ophthalmology, pain management, neurosurgery, and plastic surgery procedures, monitoring patients throughout to ensure safety and stability Manage airways, including intubation and extubation, using appropriate techniques and equipment for each patient Oversee intraoperative anesthesia management, adjusting medications and interventions in response to patient status and surgical needs Direct and manage post-anesthesia recovery, including pain control, hemodynamic monitoring, and assessment for anesthesia-related complications Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize patient flow Document all aspects of anesthesia care accurately and timely in the medical record, adhering to clinical and regulatory standards
Qualifications: Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license and Advanced Practice certification Experience in surgical or outpatient settings preferred
