Textile & Material Design Coordinator
Location: Broomfield, CO Schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday Employment Type: Temporary, Part-Time Duration: 6-month assignment We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Textile & Material Design Coordinator to support the organization and management of fabrics, materials, and product samples. This position will help maintain sample inventory, quality archives, tracking systems, and support various team projects. The ideal candidate enjoys working with physical materials, is highly organized, and has strong attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in textile development, product design, merchandising, or product management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and maintain incoming fabrics, swatches, trims, and material samples
  • Catalog, label, store, and track textile samples to ensure they are easily accessible
  • Organize product samples, development samples, display materials, and sample inventories
  • Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and Smartsheet trackers
  • Manage quality clips, reference samples, and quality archives
  • Assist with sample shipments, receiving, sorting, and distribution
  • Prepare materials for trend presentations, sample reviews, and team meetings
  • Maintain sample rooms, storage areas, and filing systems to ensure a clean and organized workspace
  • Perform data entry and maintain documentation related to textile and product development
  • Assist with special projects and administrative assignments as needed
Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; Smartsheet experience is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Comfortable handling physical materials, fabric books, swatches, and product samples
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Previous experience in textiles, product development, merchandising, inventory management, administrative support, or a related field is preferred but not required

  • 6-month temporary assignment20 hours per week
  • Monday through Thursday
