About the role

We are looking for a Benefits Coordinator to support employee benefits administration for a healthcare-focused organization in McLean, Virginia. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who brings strong hands-on knowledge of benefits processes, communicates clearly with employees, and manages sensitive information with care. The role centers on resolving benefit-related questions, assisting with enrollment activities, and maintaining accurate records while working independently and collaboratively with external partners.

Use Workday and Microsoft Office tools to process transactions, track activity, and organize benefits information. Coordinate with benefits brokers and other external partners to address escalations, clarify plan details, and support ongoing administration. Review benefit documentation carefully to identify discrepancies and ensure information is complete and accurate. Assist with leave-related benefits coordination and provide administrative support connected to employee status changes. Manage daily responsibilities with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines and service expectations.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
