HJ Staffing OpportunityHJ Staffing is recruiting for a custom manufacturer of industrial HVAC equipment designed for hazardous locations. Production involves small batches and customer-specific builds rather than a traditional assembly line. Fit and braze piping assemblies within custom industrial HVAC equipment. This position requires hands-on brazing experience, mechanical aptitude, and accurate measurement.

Responsibilities: Measure and fit piping or tubing to project requirements. Prepare joints and perform brazing using approved procedures. Follow the lead worker's instructions and applicable project drawings. Inspect joint quality and report fitting or assembly concerns. Follow torch and hot-work safety procedures and maintain an orderly work area.

Required qualifications: Previous brazing experience is required. Mechanical aptitude and ability to measure accurately. Ability to fit piping or tubing and follow production instructions.

Preferred qualifications: HVAC or refrigeration piping experience. Experience working with copper tubing.
